Pure cotton: the natural talent
Cotton is one of the best materials for fashion, but not all cotton is created equal. Its quality depends heavily on the processing, which directly impacts softness, durability, and comfort. These factors make the crucial difference:
Processing :
• Fiber length : Long fibers (like Pima or Supima) produce a finer, stronger yarn, short fibers pill more quickly.
• Combed : Short fibers and impurities are removed for smoother, softer yarn with less lint.
• Ring-spun : The yarn is twisted more slowly and finely – making it more stable, smoother and softer on the skin.
• Carbonized : Special washing processes remove plant residues for particularly pure, soft and even fibers without lint.
Our result : Combed, ring-spun cotton, velvety soft, virtually lint-free and extremely durable, even after up to 200 washes.
Cotton blends (e.g. 70% cotton, 30% polyester) :
The best combined
Ideal for hoodies and sweatshirts as it utilizes the advantages of both fibers:
• 70% cotton : For a natural, soft feel on the skin and good breathability (high quality, mostly combed and ring-spun).
• 30% Polyester : Makes the fabric more robust, more dimensionally stable, easier to care for and quick-drying.
Quality counts here too: We only use high-quality (partially recycled) polyester, which remains pleasantly soft and never feels cheap or stiff.
